The ability to locate sewer problems downstream in pipelines is critical to the repair methodology. In the past, plumbing professionals would get a general idea of where the break or blockage was in a plumbing system and dig or excavate the existing host pipe and replace it with a new one.
This process of dig and replace is expensive and destructive to property. After the repair is made the property needs to be rebuilt back to its original state.
